Irish dancing classes for adults and children in Selly Oak, Kings Norton & Redditch
Dancers of all ages and abilities are always welcomed to join the Gra na Rince School of Irish Dancing, and one of our particular areas of expertise is teenage beginners or re-starters.

Having first started dancing at age 12, first competed at 15, and entered a new school at age 18 surrounded by tiny beginners, Louise knows that it can be a little daunting to start a new activity as a teenager or older child. Our focus therefore is not just on young beginners, but on giving teenage dancers a welcoming environment to take their first steps.

Today, dancers continue competing well into their twenties and thirties, and there is also the option to take grade examinations and receive feedback and advice on your dancing in a non-competitive environment. As always, however, dancers are welcome to join us simply to enjoy their dancing in whichever way they prefer.

Beginning dance in your teens or twenties is no barrier to success, and older dancers will find a supportive and challenging class environment at Gra na Rince. Where possible we offer classes just for older students, however dancing alongside younger beginners provides inspiration for the smaller dancers and fosters a family atmosphere within the school. We're all one team!

We welcome enquiries from beginners, re-starters and improvers of all ages for our Irish dancing classes in Selly Oak, Kings Norton and Redditch.
